Qualification and Training Requirements

To be an FBI Special agent –

Candidate should be U.S citizen or that of Northern Mariana Island and should be in the age group of 23-37.
Age waiver may be allowed to eligible Veterans.
A four years degree from institution recognized by U.S Secretary of Education is required.
Three years of professional work experience and valid driving licenses are must.
He or she should be available for work anywhere in the country.
Qualifying Programs

Every candidate has to qualify in one of the five programs such as accounting, language, diversified, law, or computer science/information technology to be eligible for the post of FBI special agent. Successful candidates would be recruited with priority given to certain critical skills like accounting, finance, and engineering expertise, computer science and foreign language expertise; intelligence, law, military, physical science, or diversified experiences.
