A two year community college located in the Hillsborough County, Florida in United States, Hillsborough Community College has its administrative office located on Davis Islands, which is near the downtown Tampa.

Overall the college has six campuses that includes Brandon, Plant City, MacDill AFB, Ybor City, Dale Mabry and South Shore with the last one at southern shore of Tampa Bay near Ruskin. Four among these are main campuses while there are also two other centers.

One of the last among the community colleges that were established in the state of Florida, the Hillsborough Community College was set up in the year 1968 and is of comparatively recent origin since it was the 27th among 28 such colleges in Florida.
