The field of sales is vast, bigger than what a common man perceives. The requirements in this segment create many job opportunities which are interdependent on each other. After the courses, a good experience in sales and marketing would make for a good sales manager’s resume. Technical fields including IT also have the scope of sales managers, so people with a combination of bachelors in technical fields and masters in business administration (and related experience) would make good sales managers.

Career Growth

Sales managers can move on to become general managers, divisional heads, vice presidents and higher roles. Qualities needed to be a better sales manager include better decision making, work delegation and planning apart from conventional hard work.

Lastly, the field of sales accommodates a considerable amount of stress, but the pay package and the career scope is exceptional.
